Stackstown’ Fundraising “Haiti Disaster “Sunday the 7th March 2010.
As your Captain I am pleased to announce that the Club’ fundraising event was a success. Thank you all and visiting golfers for your support and donations, a total of 36 teams played golf on a bright sunny/chilly March day. The golf was enjoyable with excellent scoring See results sheet for the Winners.
Haiti Classic Results
It was great to see the response to this Fundraiser, as following the announcement; we had approx 15 teams committed within days.
The money raised will in no doubt go towards helping the people of Haiti and assist the The Irish Red Cross in their efforts towards such causes.
So on behalf of Stackstown Golf Club, I am forwarding a cheque for a sum in excess €4,000 to The Irish Red Cross.
